Mrs. Doris Talma Robinson Purdie, age 84 of Wallace, NC, passed away November 11, 2014 at Brian Center Health & Rehab in Wallace, NC. Graveside services will be held at Wells Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Reverend Stan Jenkins. She is survived by four sons, Gilbert Robinson (Evelyn) of Richlands, NC, Jerry Robinson (Sandy) of Wilsons, VA, Stephen Robinson of Richmond, VA and Richard Robinson of Richmond, VA, a daughter, Betty Blackburn (Rudy) of Turkey, NC, four grandsons, DeWayne (Melissa) Robinson, Ben Blackburn, Stuart Blackburn and Mark Robinson, two granddaughters, Jessica Robinson and Amanda Robinson and three great grandsons, Nicholas, Cameron and Zachary Robinson. She was born on August 26, 1930 in Sampson County, NC, and was the daughter of the late David Thad and Lena (Ramsey) Rackley and was preceded in death by her husbands, De Leon Robinson and Roy Purdie, three brothers and three sisters.
