Mrs. Edna Mae Gurganious age 81 of Willard died Tuesday May 15, 2012 at her residence. She is survived by one son, Timothy Gurganious of Willard, NC, four daughters, Elsie Stracka of Jacksonville, NC, Sylvia Bossard of Hubert, NC, Marlene Blizzard and husband Marty of Beulaville, NC, and Sherry Mosemak and husband Tom of Jacksonville, NC, twelve grandchildren, Mike Stracka and wife Sharon of Hagerstown, MD, Tammi Kinsman and husband Artie of Hubert, NC, Sonja Marsh and husband Jeff of Albuquerue, NM, Alicia Gurganious of Burgaw, NC, Danny Charles Gurganious, II of Wilmington, NC, Earl Martin Blizzard, II and wife Nadine of Beulaville, NC, Marie Jones and husband David of Mount Olive, NC, Stacy Floyd of Wallace, NC, Krystal Gurganious and Samantha Gurganious, both of Harrells, NC, Seth Gurganious and Jonna Gurganious, both of Willard, NC, seventeen great grandchildren, two brothers, Henry Floyd Pickett of Rocky Point, NC, and Teddy Pickett and wife of Maple Hill, NC, and several nieces and nephews. Born October 23, 1930 in Pender County, NC, Mrs. Gurganious was the daughter of the late William Thomas and Elsie Bell Pickett. She loved sewing, fishing, reading, cooking, shopping at thrift stores, loved her pets and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Avery Gurganious, three sons, Danny Charles Gurganious, Victor Hank Gurganious and Johnny Avery Gurganious and one brother, William Clarence Pickett. Casket bearers will be Randy Baronowski, Marty Baronowski, Jeff Jones, C. J. Jones, Chris Jones and Brian Jones.
