Obituary

Mrs. Edna Mae Bradshaw Paul, age 98 of Wallace, NC, passed away October 14, 2014 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Wilmington, NC. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at North East FWB Church in Wallace, NC conducted by the Reverends Buster Price and Sam Sumner. Burial will follow at Jacob E. Cavenaugh Cemetery in Wallace, NC. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17 from 2:00-4:00 and from 6:00-8:00 at Padgett Funeral Home in Wallace, NC. She is survived by two sons, Addie Paul and wife June of North Venice, FL and Richard Paul and wife Rebecca of North Charleston, SC, two daughters, Janice Brown of Williamsburg, VA and Linda Johnston of Wilmington, NC, 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Born May 12, 1916 in Duplin County, NC, Mrs. Paul was the daughter of the late Abner Faison and Beulah Cavenaugh Bradshaw and was preceded in death by three brothers, Marion Bradshaw, Johnny Bradshaw and William Bradshaw and one sister, Emily Casteen. Edna was the oldest member of North East FWB Church. She loved cooking, gardening, flowers and taking care of others. She dearly loved her family and would do anything for anyone. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends. Casketbearers will be John Brown, Tracy Brown, Bryan Paul, Robert Paul, William Paul and Kathy Paul.
