Mr. Edsel Bryant \"Eddie\" Rivenbark, Jr. age 57 of Wallace died Sunday June 10, 2012 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. He is survived by mother, Irene Alderman Rivenbark, of the home, one sister, Sandra Rivenbark Rackley and husband David of Flowery Branch, GA and one nephew, Charles Daniel \"Chad\" Rackley of Flowery Branch, GA. Eddie was the grandson of the late Daniel Grey Alderman and Maude S. Alderman and the late Walter Murphy Rivenbark, Sr. and Emma Brice Rivenbark. Born October 27, 1954 in Wilmington, NC, Mr. Rivenbark was the son of Irene Alderman Rivenbark and the late Edsel Bryant Rivenbark, Sr. and was a faithful member of the Bible Baptist Church in Burgaw being devoted in the Bus Ministry getting children to the church. He loved the Lord and enjoyed reading his bible. In 1974 he received his Eagle Scout award. Graduated from Wallace-Rose Hill High School in 1973. Attended Bob Jones University and earned his associate degree in business at James Sprunt Community College. Casket bearers will be David Rackley, Charles Daniel Rackley, David Futch, James Douglas \"Jim\" Elliott,Jr., Chris Branning Elliott, I. J Quinn, Jr. and Thomas Julian Long, III. Honorary bearers will be J. B. Crooms, Ed Guyton, Larry Ogden, Paul Robelin, Ed Thorpe, Dale Elliott Long, Walter Murphy \"Buddy\" Rivenbark, Jr., Phillip Brice \"Phil\" Rivenbark, William Horace \"Bill\" Rivenbark, Robert Turner Rivenbark, Mary Sue Rivenbark, Mary Emma Rivenbark, Wilton Brice Rivenbark, Faye Wells Rivenbark Sellers, Glenn Daniel Sellers, Henry Andrew \"Hal\" Leeuwenburg,and Wilton Murphy Leeuwenburg.
