Mrs. Esther Keir Stuart age 78 of Rose Hill, died Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Rosemary Rest Home in Rose Hill. She is survived by her daughter Lori Ann Price and husband Lewis of Etowah, NC; one son, Bobby Stuart and wife Tracey of Fuquay Varina, NC; one grandson, Andrew Stuart; two step grandchildren, Brandon Gardner and Tanner Gardner; one brother, Ted Keir and wife Evelyn of Athens, PA; two sisters-in-law, Maude Farlow of Teachey and Dolly Stuart of Wilmington. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Born on March 7, 1933 in Bradford County, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Stuart was the daughter of the late George and Libbie Keir and was a member of Teachey Baptist Church. She enjoyed doing crossword and picture puzzles. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Cleveland Stuart; twin sons, Tommy and Terry who died at birth in 1962; three sisters, Beatrice Dowd, Bessie Ward and Mary Harris; three brothers, George Keir, Delbert Keir and Walter Keir.
