Mrs. Eunice Mae Williams Knowles, age 79 of Rose Hill, NC, entered into her eternal rest on March 5, 2016 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 7, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Corinth Baptist Church in Rose Hill, NC conducted by Rev Phil Eakins, Rev Richard Phillips and Rev Larry King. Burial will follow at Rockfish Memorial Cemetery in Wallace, NC. The family will receive friends and family on Monday, March 7, 2016 from 12:30-2:00 at Corinth Baptist Church in Rose Hill, NC.

She is survived by her daughters, Mary Graham Devane and husband Gene of Rose Hill, NC and Ann Carpenter and husband Carl of Wallace, NC, her son, Ivey Knowles and wife Betsy of Rose Hill, NC, her grandchildren, Heather Ratliff and friend Brian Powell of Wallace, NC, Jana Kennedy and husband Alex of Rose Hill, NC, John Blanton and friend Yoli Beth of Willard, NC, Beth Knowles of Wallace, NC, Casey Knowles and wife Jennifer of Wallace, NC, Brook Grainger and husband Will of Chinquapin, NC, Blake Parker and wife Heather of Wallace, NC, Angel Parker and friend Woody Brock of Wallace, NC, Michele Falcon and husband Eric of Texas and Mike Bishop of Lake City, SC, her great grandchildren, Kelsey Knowles, Morgan, Jordan and Avery Blanton, Levi Knowles, Justin and Chase Ratliff, Lexi and Lila Grace Kennedy, Sadie and Victoria Falcon, Cameron West, Isaac Bishop and Rhett Parker, her sister, Nancy White of Hope Mills, NC, numerous nieces and nephews and numerous special friends.

Eunice was born on June 13, 1936 in Duplin County, NC to the late Duncan and Bessie Harper Williams. She is also predeceased by her husband, Ivey Roy Knowles, Sr., her foster mother, Mary Johnson, a sister, Bessie Christine Pate, a brother, Hamp Williams and a granddaughter, Jennifer Bishop.

She was a faithful member of Corinth Baptist Church. She worked with many church ministries throughout the years but had a special compassion for the senior adults and bereaved family ministries. She loved to spend time with her family and friends and enjoyed sewing and embroidery.

Casket Bearers will be Bill Cook, Tommy Blanton, Tom Clark, Sean Knowles, Adam Brummit and James Kissner.
