Fidel Ortiz Padilla of Rose Hill, NC departed his earthly life on Friday, September 20, 2019 while at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.  Born on April 23, 1973, he is the son of Juana Padilla Baez and the late Ezequel Ortiz Gallardo.  He is also predeceased by a son Cameron Alexander Ortiz Huff.

Survivors include his wife--Shirley "Tina" Huff of Rose Hill; son--Ezekiel Ortiz Huff of Rose Hill; daughter--Laura Benitez Huff of Rose Hill; step son Jackson Benitez Huff of Rose Hill; mother--Juana Padilla Baez of Goldsboro, NC; brother--Raul Ortiz Padilla and wife Cassandra of Goldsboro; and sister--Mariani Ortiz of Washington, NC.

A funeral service to celebrate Mr. Padilla's life will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at 12 Noon in the 612 South Norwood Street chapel of Quinn McGowen Funeral Home in Wallace, NC.  A visitation will precede the service at 11:00 a.m. and interment will be in Duplin Memorial Cemetery in Teachey, NC.  Padgett Funeral & Cremation Services of Wallace is serving the Padilla family.
