Mrs. Frances Marcella Ormsby, age 68, of Richlands, died January 24, 2012 at Milford and Reba Quinn Hospice Care Center in Kenansville. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Richard Walker Ormsby, of the home, two sons, Mark Ormsby and wife Robin of San Leandro, CA, and Bryan Ormsby of Atascadero, CA, a daughter, Christie Oldroyd and husband Mark of Richlands, NC, four sisters, Lee McNemar, Trudy Eckhardt, Barbara Lark and Gerry Wasz, a mother-in-law, Helen Ormsby, five grandchildren, Michael Ormsby, Mitchell Ormsby, Jarod Ormsby, Morgan Oldroyd and Dylan Oldroyd and several nieces and nephews. Born July 24, 1943 in Gary, IN, Mrs. Ormsby was the daughter of the late Julius J. and Gizella Christy Danch and was a member of Cedar Fork Baptist Church. She loved crafts, playing cards and games, watching tv, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Evie Danch.
