Mrs. Gail Mary Hutteman Giddings age 73 of Wallace died Wednesday May 9, 2012 at Liberty Commons Nursing & Rehab Center in Wilmington. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Lee Ernest Giddings, of the home, one son, Joseph Lee Giddings and wife Anne of Wilmington, NC, one sister, Joan Townsend and husband Norman of Sackets Harbor, NY, two granddaughters, Paytan Leanne Giddings and Sydney Claire Giddings, two nephews, Gregg Townsend and Brian Townsend, two nieces, Jan Townsend and Gretchen Townsend. Born April 1, 1939 in Watertown, NY, Mrs. Giddings was the daughter of Bernita Cullen Hutteman and the late Herbert Hutteman and was a member of Saint Andrews Catholic Church in Sackets Harbor, NY. She was a member of the Sackets Harbor Fire Department, Level II EMS, Judge of 10 years, the New York State Magistrates Association and the Sackets Harbor Sports Club. She also enjoyed trap shooting, fishing, hunting and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, David Herbert Giddings.
