Garry Warren Powell age 56 of 120 English mobilehome park Wallace died Friday June 25, 2010 at Duplin General Hospital. He is survived by his wife Cathy Pearson Powell of Wallace; two daughters, Kimberly Powell Strader & husband Kevin of Pink Hill, Tara Powell of Stedman; two step daughters, Stacy Pierce & husband Kevin of Wallace and Stephanie Barnhart & husband Tony of Wallace; one granddaughter, Katie Strader of Pink Hill; one grandson, Kevin Strader of Pink Hill; one sister, Lois Ann Carter of Wallace; two brothers, L. G. Powell & wife Sue of Wilmington and Glen Powell & wife Mimi of Wallace. Born in New Hanover County Garry is the son of the late Levi Graham and Lois Robinson Eason Powell and was a truck driver.
