Mrs. Geraldine Kennedy Wells, age 76, of Rose Hill died Wednesday January 11, 2012, at the Brian Center in Wallace. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, William Frank Wells, of the home, two daughters, Sandra Moore Leap and husband Bill of Magnolia and Pamela Adell Eden and husband Danny of Wilmington, one grandson, Justin Darrell Watson and wife Macie of Wallace, three granddaughters, Jennifer Moore Newmons and husband Skipper of Magnolia, Rebbica Eden and Sarah Eden, one great grandson, Dylan Joseph Newmons and several cousins and friends. Born January 12, 1935 in Faison, N. C., Mrs. Wells was the daughter of the late Clarence and Sallie Harrell Kennedy and was a member of Magnolia Baptist Church. She loved to travel, spend time with her family and going out to eat. She was preceded in death by a son, Gerald Betties \"Jerry\" Watson. Casketbearers will be Bobby Ward, Wade Ward, Dewitt Miller, Patrick Davis, Jimmy Hartley and J. T. Kelly.
