Mrs. Gloria Jean \"Sissy\" Pierce, age 66 of Willard, NC, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. She was born in Phillipsburg, PA on November 16, 1945, the daughter of the late Edward Thomas and Ruth Marie (Mason) Slack and was preceded in death by a sister, Rhea Gyorfi and a granddaughter, Tiffany Nicole Spell. Sissy's passion in life was caring for and spending time with her family and loved ones. Surviving besides her husband of 49 years, Allen Pierce is a daughter, Michelle Spell and husband Lenny of Harrells, NC, two grandchildren, Amanda and Lenny Jr., both of Harrells, NC.
