Grace Annette Boney Johnson died Monday, August 24, 2009 at Carolina House of Cary (formerly 113 Arrundale Drive). Grace was born in Wallace, NC on October 10, 1934 to the late Gabriel Boney, Sr. and Grace Wells Boney. She graduated from St Mary's and UNC Chapel Hill. Grace will be remembered as a wonderful piano teacher whose students placed high in competitions. Surviving are nieces Lisa Southerland, Beulaville and Christy Bass. Kenansville, her nephew Steve Blanton Kenansville and a special friend Emily Stafford Pittsboro. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Gabriel Boney Jr.and Strong Boney. Graveside services will be held Monday, August 31, 11AM at Rockfish Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Wallace, NC. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Parkinson Disease Association, Staten Island, NY 10305 or Rockfish Presbyterian Church, 6270 S NC 41, Wallace, NC 28466.
