Mr. Harold Thomas Wood age 88 died Tuesday, March 23, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Edna Mobley Wood of the home; one daughter, Debbie Barber and husband Nicky of Wallace; four sons, Harold Wood, Jr., and wife Mary of Azel, Texas, David R. Wood and wife Deborah, Richard Lee Wood and wife Lynn J. all of Wallace and Michael L. Wood and wife Trudy of Wilson; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren; two sisters, Rebecca Rooks of Wallace and Annie Sue Estel of New Egypt, New Jersey. Mr. Wood is a native of Duplin county and the son of the late Steven Oscar and Annie Stroud Wood. Also he is preceded in death brothers, Eustace Wood, Gorman Wood, Allen Wood, Troy Wood and step-grandchild, Timothy Golf.
