Mrs Hettie Christine Dyson age 85 of Wallace, NC passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at Carolina East/Quinn Hospice Care Center in Kenansville. Funeral services will be held 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at Padgett Funeral Home, Wallace. The family will receive from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service. Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Riverview Memorial Park by the Reverend Rodney Bonham and Reverend Reid Casteen.

Born August 17, 1927 in Sampson County, Mrs. Dyson was the daughter of the late Dick Arthur and Estelle (Andrews) Boyette and was preceded in death by her husband, James Conley Dyson and a sister, Hattie Dyson. Mrs. Dyson enjoyed fishing, watching TV and especially loved spending time with her family. She is survived by two sons, Will Boyette and wife Gail of Wallace, NC and Ray Dyson and wife Elizabeth Arlene of Hopewell, VA, three grandchildren, Chris Dyson and wife Amanda of Hopewell, VA, Cori Dyson of Hopewell, VA and Tammy Knowles of Beulaville, NC, two great grandchildren, Tyler Dyson of Hopewell, VA and Brandy Hulbert of Raleigh, NC.
