Miss Hilda Lee Brown age 85 of Wallace died August 29, 2011 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Born September 1, 1925 in Duplin County, Mrs. Brown was the daughter of the late Lucian Robinson and Rosalie Southerland Brown and was a member of Poston Baptist Church. She worked for the Wallace Sewing Plant for 15 years and the Dairy-O for 10 years and her father was Justice Of The Peace in Wallace for many years. She also loved reading and cooking. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Miller and Kathleen Lobland and four brothers, Carroll Brown, Marion Brown, Jackie Brown and Edgar Brown.
