Hilda Louise Heath Norris of Wallace left her earthly life on Sunday, November 8, 2020 while at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.  Born on October 2, 1942, she was the daughter of the late James Paul and Mattie Batchelor Heath.  She was also preceded in death by a son—Jason Norris

Left to cherish her memory are her husband—William Hallie Norris, Jr; son-Bill Norris and wife Kelli of Teachey; grandchildren—Caitlin Flockhart and husband Jason of Clinton, Riley Norris of Teachey, and Jenson Norris of Wallace, Andrew Hargrove of Calypso, and Jacob Hargrove of Wallace; and great grandchild—Avery Flockhart.

Mrs. Norris was well known in the area as the owner and operator of Norris Restaurant and the Liberty Inn in Wallace for many years.  She used her love of cooking in making many delicious meals in the restaurant for patrons of the community and the hotel.  When she could get away from the business, she enjoyed spending her time at the beach where she enjoyed fishing.  Whether at the beach or at home, spending time with family was her favorite love of all the things she did on earth.
