Mrs. Hilda Mobley Sholar age 91 of Wallace, died Saturday April 28, 2012 at Huntington Health Care in Burgaw. She is survived by a son, Marion Sholar and wife Pat of Ivanhoe, NC, a granddaughter, Melissa Deal and husband Chris of Burgaw, NC and a daughter-in-law, Becky Spell of Castle Hayne, NC. Born February 25, 1921 in Duplin County, Mrs. Sholar was the daughter of the late Arthur and Lucy (Teachey) Mobley and was a member of the Moores Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, R.W. \"Tootsie\" Sholar, two sons, Jerry Spell and Elmore Spell, five sisters and one brother.
