Mr. James O. Kilpatrick, age 90 of Rose Hill, NC died on October 7, 2016 at Vidant Hospital in Greenville, NC. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Oak Plain Presbyterian Church in Rose Hill, NC conducted by Rev. William Goodnight. Burial will follow the services at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends and family after the services at the Church.

James is survived by his sister-in-law, Rachel Kilpatrick of Clinton, NC and several nieces and nephews.

James was born on April 20, 2016 in Sampson County to the late Hugh J. and Nellie Lee Chestnut Kilpatrick. He is also preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Murphy Kilpatrick, his second wife, Annie Thomas Kilpatrick and his brothers, Henry Lacy Kilpatrick and David Kilpatrick.

Casket Bearers will be Wade Ward, Frank O. Williams, Henry Smith, David Williams, Timmy Sutton and S. Franklin Williams.

In lieu of flowers, you may make a memorial contribution in James' memory to Oak Plain Presbyterian Church, 6800 Waycross Road, Rose Hill, NC 28458.
