Mr. James Buren \"JB\" Sanderson age 85 of Wallace died Monday September 27, 2010 at the Brian Center Health and Rehab of Wallace. He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Hazel S. Cavenaugh and husband Willie of Kernersville, Mrs. Louise S. English and husband Ray of Wallace and Mrs. Peggy S. Sellers and husband Tom of Burgaw, three brothers, Roy C. Sanderson and wife Frieda, Bradley C. Sanderson and wife Mary Sue and Johnny Sanderson and wife Kay, all of Wallace and several nieces and nephews. A native of Duplin County, Mr. Sanderson was the son of the late Horry Lee and Lucille Lee Batts Sanderson and a member of Northeast Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church. He also loved his pets and Gospel music. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 33 years, Lucille Poteat Sanderson and his second wife of 18 years, Ruth Etta Sanderson, two sisters, Lois Elizabeth Moore and Ruth Faye Sanderson, two brothers, Homer T. Sanderson and Dan C. Sanderson. Casketbearers will be John Sanderson, Jr., Kelly Sanderson, David Sanderson, Glenn Sanderson, Gerald Hanchey and Wade Hanchey.
