Mr. Jesse Dale Harrell, age 29 of Teachey, NC, died as a result of a vehicle accident on January 8, 2017. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Padgett Funeral Home in Wallace, NC conducted by Pastor Brad Carter. Burial will follow at Duplin Memorial Gardens in Teachey, NC. The family will receive friends and family on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Padgett Funeral Home.

Jesse is survived by his mother, Rhonda K. Casteen of Wallace, NC, his daughter, Raegan Harrell, his son, Peyton Harrell, his brother, Joshua Harrell, his step sister, Paula Melton and husband Gideon of FL, his maternal grandmother, Louise Casteen of Rose Hill, NC, his paternal grandmother, Edna Harrell of Teachey, NC, his niece, Ariel Anderson of FL and his nephew, Dustin Harrell of Wallace, NC.

Jesse was born on January 30, 1987 in Duplin County to Rhonda K. Casteen and the late Sidney Dale Harrell. He is also predeceased by his grandfathers, Joseph E. Casteen and Alton Harrell.

Jesse loved fishing, going to the beach and most importantly, spending time with his children.

Casket Bearers will be Zachary Casteen, Grayson Casteen, Whaley Casteen, Nathan Casteen, Joe Powell and Billy Varker.

The family will be meeting at Jesse's grandmother's home at 308 North Walnut Street in Rose Hill, NC.
