Mr. Jimmy Leon Norris, Jr. age 26 of Wallace died Thursday July 26, 2012 at Vidant Duplin Hospital in Kenansville.

Born December 24, 1985 in Lancaster, PA, Jimmy was the son of Jimmy Norris and Donna Walrath and was preceded in death by his son, Tyler Sloan Norris.

Jimmy loved to hang out and cook in the yard with the kids. He loved the fact that he was a "Daddy" to his children and cherished the time he spent with them. He also like working on old cars, motorcycles, four wheelers but most of all he loved being around his family and friends.

He is survived by his father, Jimmy Leon Sr., his step-mother, Beverly Quinn Brock Norris, and his biological mother, Donna Walrath, a son, Brantley Norris, a daughter, Leeah Norris, two brothers, Jeremy Bryan of Raleigh, NC and Mathew Register of Wallace, NC, six sisters, Jennifer Norris of Clinton, NC, Amanda Norris of Turkey, NC, Victoria Register of Beulaville, NC, Kayla Register of Beulaville, NC, Ashley Johnson and Amber Herring, grandparents, Joyce Norris, ZJ and Lori Norris and a great grandmother, Louise Hardison. Memorial services will be held 2:00 pm Monday, July 30, 2012 at Padgett Funeral Home with Pastor Sam Sumner officiating. The family will receive one hour prior to the service.
