Mr. John Lucas Lloyd, age 34 of Wallace, NC, died on October 7, 2015 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church in Wallace, NC conducted by the Rev. Glenn Sheppard and the Rev. Durwood Maready. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Dail Cemetery in Wallace, NC.

John is survived by his mother, Lottie Melvina Lloyd of Wallace, NC, two sisters, Vivian Rabun and husband Scott of Glendale, AZ and Debbie Turner and husband Richard of Ninety-Six, SC, his brother, Darryl Lloyd and wife Olivia of Beulaville, NC, and several nieces and nephews.

John was born on December 27, 1980 in Pitt County to Lottie Melvina Lloyd and the late Orland Thomas Lloyd.

He is predeceased by his grandmother, Mary Lee Dail and his grandfather, Leslie Dail.

Casketbearers will be Lesley Lloyd, Ricky Turner, Jason Brinson, Travis Ballard, Rick Tobin and Gary Cole.
