John Richard Zoesch, Jr. of River Landing in Wallace, NC, passed away on his birthday, 10/7/2016. He was 77 years old. Jack is survived by his wife Janice Orford Zoesch, his sons John Richard III and wife Amy of Pensacola, Fl. and Bryan William of Richmond, Va, and two grandchildren, William Daniel and Emilie Jane Zoesch of Pensacola. He is predeceased by his parents Jean Jorgensen Zoesch and John Richard Zoesch, both of Omaha, Nebraska.

Jack graduated from Omaha Central High School in 1957 and Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering and a Commission in the US Army Reserve in 1961. He served on active duty for two years, most of that time in France, leaving honorably discharged as a First Lieutenant in 1968.

Jack worked for Eastman Kodak Company, starting as an Industrial Engineer and retiring as a Manager, holding many different positions during his 38 years with the company. He started there in 1961 and retired in 1999.

Jack enjoyed playing golf, especially with his family. He was a member of Ridgemont Country Club in Greece, NY, Oak Hill County Club in Rochester, NY, and River Landing Country Club in Wallace, NC.

Jack helped start the Wallace-Rose Hill Friends of the Arts and served as Secretary. He also was very active in the club at River Landing.

There will be a Celebration of Life, November 12, 2016.
