Mrs. Josephine (Jo) Blanton Horrell formally of Goldsboro passed away on October 4, 2011 at Concord Care Center of Cortland in OH. She was born on April 3, 1923 to the parents of Bradley T. and Nancy Jane Dail) Blanton. She worked at Montgomery Wards and then owned a Child Day Care before retiring in 1986. She was married to Daniel E. Horrell on April 5, 1942, they celebrated 64 years of marriage before his death on April 18, 2006. Jo is survived by two daughters; Danette (Travis) Stone of Burghill, OH, Gerri (Allen) Dail of Princeton, NC and a sister Rovene Mathews of Willard, NC. She is also survived by two granddaughters, Amanda (Zach) Flowers and Susan (Tom) Crespo, 4 great grandchildren Eve, Lewis, Henry Flowers, Jonathan Crespo and one step grandson Christopher (Carrie) Dail, 3 step great grandchilren Cody, Caden and Kaitlyn Dail. She was preceeded in death by her husband, her parents, four brothers and one sister.
