Kareene Elizabeth Lunsford Perry of Teachey, NC departed her earthly life on the evening of Thursday, September 16, 2021, while at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC, following a period of declining health.  Born in Alamance County on January 15, 1959, she is the daughter of the late John Henry and Bruce Ellen Watkins Lunsford.  Also preceding her in death is her brother--Johnny Lunsford.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband--George Herbert Perry, Jr. of Teachey; children--Joey Jordan and wife Courtney of Wilmington, David Brice and wife Brittnee of Yulee (Florida), James Brice of Wallace, and Nicole Perry of Beulaville; grandchildren--Dane, Kayla, Isaac, Bryan, and Austin; brother--Richard Lunsford of Burlington; and sister--Donna Edens of Wallace.

No formal service is planned at the present time.  Padgett Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the Perry family.
