Lucy Ellen Farrior age 81 of Wallace, NC passed away on Monday, September 23, 2013 at Mary Gran Nursing Home in Clinton, NC. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 26 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Wallace, NC conducted by Dr. Alan Thompson. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park in Watha, NC. The family will receive at the church from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. She was born on October 25, 1931 in Duplin County to the late Jim and Genie Sheffield Wells. Mrs. Farrior is survived by two daughters, Patricia Farrior Kallam and husband Jimmy of Stoneville, NC and Marsha Farrior Sumner and husband Jesse of Clinton, NC, four grandchildren, Carl Kallam of Kernersville, NC, Mark Kallam and wife Nicole of Jamestown, NC, Elizabeth Sumner of Clinton, NC and Emily Sumner of Clinton, NC, a great grandson, Kurt Kallam of Jamestown, NC. Mrs. Farrior was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Graham Farrior. Mrs. Farrior graduated from Rose Hill High School and attended Meredith College. She loved the DAR (Daughters of the Revolution) and was a devoted member. She was a member of the Son Shine Choir. She worked at the Willard Post Office for 32 years serving as the Post Master for several of those years. She loved her grandchildren, reading, sewing and her church. Casketbearers will be Sammy Marshburn, Lex Marshburn, Carries Marshburn, Jay Farrior, Keith Farrior and Stewart Wells.
