Miss. Margaret Dean Fields age 71 of Teachey died Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at Duplin General Hospital in Kenansville. A native of Duplin County Miss. Fields is the daughter of Eugene and Bessie Johnson Fields. Miss Fields enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and word search, but her greatest love was for her dog \"Lucy\". She is survived by her mother Bessie Fields; two brothers, Donald Fields and wife Peggy of Teachey, Jimmy Fields and wife Polly of Burgaw; three sisters, Margie Fields Kennedy of Pink Hill, Ann Norman and husband Butch of Rose Hill, Glenda Smith and husband Tracey of Harrells; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father Eugene Fields.
