Marion Randolph Johnson, Sr, of Teachey, North Carolina departed his earthly life at midday on Sunday, May 1, 2022, while at Vidant Duplin Hospital in Kenansville.  Born in Horry County, SC on February 14, 1941, he is the son of the late Oscar M. and Eula V. Smith Johnson.  He is also preceded in death by his wife--Jacqueline Faith Johnson; children--Dawn Faith Johnson and Steven Wayne Johnson; and brothers--Duane Johnson and Bobby Johnson.  He is survived by his son--Marion Rudolph "Randy" Johnson of Teachey.

Mr. Johnson served his country in the United States Marine Corp from 1958 to 1962.  Later he served General Electric as a machinist in nuclear power plant construction and was sent by the company to foreign countries such as China.  He was a true salesperson in that he enjoyed buying and selling horses, livestock, and automobiles.
