Ms. Mary Jo Brown, age 56 of Mount Olive, NC, died on April 24, 2016 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro, NC. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at Padgett Funeral Home Chapel in Wallace, NC. Funeral Services will begin at 7:30 p.m. conducted by Rev. Darian Parker. Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Devotional Gardens in Warsaw, NC conducted by Rev. Reid Casteen.

She is survived by four sisters, Diana Hodges and husband Lewis of Savannah, GA, Patricia Bass and husband Wilton of Clinton, NC, Regina Harrell of Kenansville, NC and Helen Jackson of Mt. Olive, NC, her brother, Jimmy Brown and wife Cathy of Teachey, NC, her step father, Dan Myers of Turkey, NC, eleven nieces and nephews, sixteen great nieces and nephews and special friends, Joe and Kathy Quinn of Rose Hill, NC.

She was born on October 25, 1959 in Duplin County, NC to the late Hosea Louis Brown and Faye Casteen Brown Myers. She is also predeceased by her brother, Robert Allen Brown.

Mary Jo loved fishing, singing 70s and 80s music, crocheting, people and her doll.
