Mrs. Mary Ruth Cottle age 67 of Teachey died Tuesday November 3, 2010 at her residence. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jessie David Cottle, of the home, three daughters, Mrs. Beverly Violet English and husband Biney and Mrs. Janice Lorraine McDaniel, both of Teachey and Mrs. Cheryl Ann Houston and husband David of Pink Hill, two sons, Daniel David Cottle and wife Melissa of Rose Hill and Christopher Nolan Cottle of Teachey, eleven grandchildren, Jessica Ruth Crockrell of Fayetteville, Brandon Teague of Kanapolis, Bradley Teague, Carlee Cottle and Nolan Cottle, all of Rose Hill, J. P. Brown of Wallace, Joshua Wade Horrell and Sean English, both of Teachey, Jessica Whitley of Clinton, Donald McDaniel of Charlotte and Dustin Price of Pink Hill, thirteen great grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Eleanor Parker of Wallace, Mrs. Helen Pigford of Wilmington and Mrs. Elizabeth Wainwright of Penderlea, three brothers, Charles Ezzell of Holiday, TX, David Ezzell of Omaha, NE and Sherwood Ezzell of Wallace. A native of Duplin County, Mrs. Cottle was the daughter of the late James Clark and Gussie Violet Malpass Ezzell and a member of Wallace Church of God. She loved gardening, reading and was an excellent cook. She was prececed in death by a brother, Joseph Ezzell and a son-in-law, Donald McDaniel. Casketbearers will be James Preston Brown, Joshua Horrell, Bradley Teague, Brandon Teague, James Ezzell and Joseph Ezzell. Honorary Bearers will be Charles Ezzell, Pete Ezzell and Sherwood Ezzell.
