Mrs. Mary Mildred \"Peggy\" Faircloth, age 80 of Teachey, NC, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2014 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington. A graveside services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Harnett Devotional Gardens in Dunn conducted by the Rev. Craig Richardson. The family will receive at Mrs. Faircloth's residence in Teachey. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, John Faircloth of the home, four children, Dianne Hall and husband Jerry of Wilmington, NC, Ronnie Faircloth and wife Ren?e of Manassas, VA, Timothy Faircloth and wife Chris of Plattsmouth, NE, and John Faircloth, Jr. and wife Linda of Seagrove, NC, eight grandchildren, Wendy Wells and husband Jack of Wallace, NC, Nicholas Hall and wife Brandy of Wilmington, NC, Amy Faircloth of Manassas, VA, Natalie Faircloth of Omaha, NE, Jeremy Faircloth and wife Christina of Eden Prairie, MN, John Kelly Faircloth III and wife Katrina of Panama City, FL, Michelle Faircloth of Panama City, FL, and Sean Faircloth of Lacygne, KS, four great grandchildren, Luke Wells, Matthew Wells, Greyson Faircloth, and Austin Faircloth, a brother, Lester House and wife Elaine of Erwin, NC, a sister, Shirly Coffin of Millville, DE, and several nieces and nephews. Born December 28, 1933 in Dunn, NC, Mrs. Faircloth was the daughter of the late Mary (West) and Lattie B. House and was preceded in death by her sister, Pauline Porter and her brother, Elwood House. Mrs. Faircloth was a loving and caring wife, mother, MaMa, and sister who loved spending time with family, especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the North Clinton Avenue Baptist Church, 507 North Clinton Avenue, Dunn, NC 28334.
