Mrs. Mary Lee Usher, age 85 of Rose Hill, NC passed away Saturday, September 8, 2012 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Concord Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Jimmy Johnson and Rev. Ottis King. Burial will follow at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery.

She is survived by a daughter, Diane Usher Spivey and husband Jerry of Burgaw, NC, two sons, Lyman Pat Usher of Carolina Beach, NC and Jerry M. Usher Sr. of Rose Hill, NC, ten grandchildren, Crystal Usher Fussell and husband John of Hampstead, NC, Angela Usher Raynor of Carolina Beach, NC, Robbie Spivey Holly and husband Buddy of Rocky Point, NC, Rhonda Usher Newmons and husband James of Rose Hill, NC, Patricia D. Usher of Carolina Beach, NC, Jerry M. Usher Jr. of Rose Hill, NC, Patrick H. Usher of Carolina Beach, NC, Jamie Akers and husband Joshua of Dunn, NC James Tucker and John Tucker, both of Smithfield, NC, six great grandchildren, John Tyler Fussell, Michael Glenn Raynor, Madison N. Fussell, Trenton K. Jackson, Namon H. Holly and Joshua David Akers II, a sister, Bessie Morgan Holloman of Green County, NC and several nieces and nephews.

Born October 30, 1926 in Green County, NC, Mrs. Usher was the daughter of the late Lyman and Sally Tyson Morgan and was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Francis Patrick Usher and a brother, Seth Tyson Morgan. Mary had been a longtime member of the Concord Baptist Church where she was a member of the Woman's Missionary Union. She also loved to cook, play games with the family and spending time with her family.

Pallbearers are: Tony Holloman, Marvin Morgan, Patrick Usher, Gary Bell, Justin Usher, Jerry Usher Jr. and John Tucker. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Boone, Johnnie Holloman, Bill Usher, Murphy Drew, Fred Benton, J.C. Morgan, Rev. Ottis King and Mike Morgan.
