Mrs. Mavis Estelle Proctor Moore age 91 of Willard died Friday, June 24, 2011 at her residence. She is survived by six daughters, Shirley Jean Claytor of Candler, Mavis Ann Brandt and Patricia Henderson both of Willard, Karen Medina of Wilmington, Joyce Clay of Woodford, VA and Susan Farmer of Clarksville, TN; one son, Richard Dean Moore of Clarksville, TN; sixteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Born in Nash County, Mrs. Moore was the daughter of the late Richard Irvin and Mary Annie Rivenbark Proctor. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and flowers and was a member of Pender Lea Assembly of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years C.K. Moore and one daughter, Linda Lou Moore. Casket bearers will be Richard Clay, Richard Moore and Joshua R. Wiggins.
