Mildo Noel Velasquez Velasquez of Willard, NC departed his earthly life on Sunday, February 18, 2024.  Born on March 17, 1992, he is the son of Jesus Emanuel Valesquez Lopez and Margarita Celestine Velasquez Diaz of Guatemala.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife—Roxana Marisol Gonzalez Diaz; children—Derly Velasquez Gonzalez and Yuleni Velasquez Gonzalez; and eight brothers and sisters.

Mildo was a good husband, father, son, and brother who was the extremely kind person we all want to know during our lives here on earth.  He was always there for family and friends and was also proud to be a "child of God".  The quality time he spent with children caused him to be viewed as a "second father" to some of them and the constant smile he wore helped him establish many lasting friendships.

A service to celebrate his life is set to begin with visitation at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2024, and service at 12:00 Noon in the chapel of Padgett Funeral & Cremation services in Wallace, NC.

Nacido el 17 de marzo de 1992, es hijo de Jesús Emanuel Valesquez López y Margarita Celestina Velásquez Díaz de Guatemala. Para atesorar su memoria quedan su esposa: Roxana Marisón González Díaz; niños: Derly Velásquez González y Yeleini Velásquez González; y ocho hermanos y hermanas. Mildo fue un buen esposo, padre, hijo y hermano, y fue la persona extremadamente amable que todos queremos conocer durante nuestra vida aquí en la tierra. Siempre estuvo ahí para familiares y amigos y también estaba orgulloso de ser un "hijo de Dios". El tiempo de calidad que pasó con los niños hizo que algunos de ellos lo vieran como un "segundo padre" y la sonrisa constante que lucía lo ayudó a establecer muchas amistades duraderas.

Un servicio para celebrar su vida comenzará con el velorio a las 11:00 a. m. el sábado 24 de febrero de 2024 y el servicio a las 12:00 del mediodía en la capilla de los servicios de funeral y cremación de Padgett en Wallace, Carolina del Norte.
