Mr. Milton Ray Henderson, Sr., age 64 of Wallace, NC, died on October 12, 2016 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Wilmington, NC. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016 at 7:00 pm at Padgett Funeral Home in Wallace, NC conducted by Rev. Roland Penny and Rev. Randall Pierce. Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, October 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Henderson Cemetery in Pin Hook, NC conducted by Rev. Jim Brinkley. The family will receive friends and family after the services on Friday night.

Surviving to cherish his memories are his best friend and devoted wife of 45 years, Pansy Casteen Henderson, his loving son, Milton Ray Henderson, Jr. and wife Shannon of Pin Hook, his sisters Raddie Lue Blanton of Wilmington, Eloise Henderson of Pin Hook, Rebbie May Hollingsworth and husband Eugene of Wallace and Angeline Hatcher and husband Donald of Surf City and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Milton was born on November 14, 1951 in Duplin County to the late Pearlie Milton and Sarah Liza Pierce Henderson. He is also predeceased by his brother, Norman Franklin Henderson, his brothers-in-law, Marvin Blanton and William Henderson and his sister-in-law, Verline Henderson.

He was a hard-working man, having farmed his entire life. He also like to relax by going down to the beach.

Casket Bearers will be Milton Henderson, Jr., Jamie Dail, Stanley James, Derek Alston, Wayne Langston and Waydus Blanton. Honorary Casket Bearers will be Kenneth Dail and Earl Blanton.
