Mr. Murdock Pedro Smith, age 81 of Burgaw, NC, died on October 2, 2015 at Ashe Gardens Memory Care in Burgaw, NC. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Padgett Funeral Home in Wallace, NC. The family will receive visitors immediately following the services.

Pedro is survived by his sister, Maggie Futrell of Rose Hill, NC and many nieces and nephews.

Pedro was born on October 10, 1933 in Onslow County to the late Frank P. and Lydia Brown Smith.

He is predeceased by his sister, Ruth Smith Foster and his brother, Henry S. Smith.
