Nancy Mathews Walker of Willard, North Carolina passed away on March 18, 2019 at the age of 63.  Born in Duplin County, she was the daughter of Rovene Blanton Mathews and the late Arthur James Mathews.

She is survived by her husband--Jack Walker; her mother--Rovene Blanton Mathews of Leland, NC; a sister--Jane Mathews Powell of Leland, NC; a brother--Jim Mathews (Barbara) of Virginia Beach, VA; her son--Jamie Futrell of Wilmington, NC; and granddaughter--Jenna Futrell of Wilmington, NC.

Nancy enjoyed spending time at the beach where fishing and crabbing were a delight to her.  Above all else she loved her family and the time she spent with them.
