Nicholas James Schirillo, Jr. of Wallace, NC passed from his earthly life, to join his longtime partner Marty Saunders, on Wednesday, October, 25, 2023 while at home.   Born in Bridgeport (CT) on September 10, 1961, he is the son of the late Nicholas James Schirillo, Sr. and Pasqualina Bruno Schirillo.  Also preceding him in death is a brother—James Anthony Schirillo.

Left to cherish his memory are his sister—Carol Ann Cray-Grund of East Lyme (CT); niece—Kimberly Cray of Wallace; nephews—Richard Cray of San Diego (CA), Nicholas Schirillo of Hillsborough (NC), Johnathan Schirillo of Boston (MA), and Stephen Sekelsky of Wallace.

Mr. Schirillo spent a great part of his career as a baker.  He was something of an authority in cake decorating and took much pride in his creations in baking.
