Patricia Lynette Reiger

Patricia Lynette Herring Reiger of Wallace departed her earthly life on Saturday, June 6, 2026, while at home. Born on January 8, 1965, she is the daughter of the late Allean Herring. Also preceding her in death is her brother—Christopher Herring.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband—Richard Joseph Reiger; children—Adam Robert Reiger and wife Ashley of Wallace, Casey Richard Reiger and wife Krista of Wind Gap (PA), and Daniel Scott Reiger of Midlothian (VA); special aunt Gladys Murray; uncles—John Herring (Helena) and Mozelle Herring; god mother—Linda Wright; nephews—Christopher Herring, Jr. and Joshua Herring; special friend—Brenda Wells from New Jersey; and seven grandchildren.

Mrs. Reiger was well known in Wallace as an employee of CVS in Wallace where she had been employed for a number of years. Her great smile and wonderful attitude were a welcome blessing to many who entered the drug store. She had an industrious spirit whether working in the CVS or in the family business of home construction with her husband.

A service to celebrate her life is set for 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 12, 2026, in the chapel of Padgett Funeral Home of Wallace, with visitation one hour prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow the service in the Reiger Family Cemetery.
