Mrs. Rogers was born in Willard, NC Dec. 25, 1936. She is the daughter of the late Bennie Carrol and Elizabeth Corine Vickers Norris. She is survived by her a daughters, Lisa C. Gilley and fiance, Jim Powers, of Bel Air, MD andLaura S. Jones of Wallace, NC; four grandchildren, Heather Scott, Rachel Gilley, Amanda Gilley, and Samantha Jones; godchildren, David, kenny, and Terry Stallard; and lifelong best friends, Ross Stallard and Marcia Allison. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bernard \"Mo\" Rogers; her daughter, Nila K. Rogers; brother, Virgil Norris; sisters, Carol Pickett and Kay Norris.
