Mrs. Patricia Ann Strickland Rivenbark age 76 of Wallace died Monday February 27, 2012 at her residence. She is survived by two sons, Eddie Rivenbark and wife Ann of Southport, NC and Tom Rivenbark and wife Bev of Wilmington, NC, two daughters, Vickie McGee of Wallace, NC and Sonjia Rivenbark of Magnolia, NC and special friend, Randy Hulbert, ten grandchildren, Richard Norris of Burgaw, Durwood Parker, III and wife Melanie of Rose Hill, NC, Jason Parker and wife Melissa of Teachey, NC, Crystal Burgess and husband Chuck of Rose Hill, NC, Amanda Hardee and husband Warren of Leland, NC, Ashley Mignano and husband Tony of Ohio, Johnathan Rivenbark of Wilmington, NC, Joshua Rivenbark of Charlotte, NC, Katie Rivenbark of Southport, NC and Mike Cole and wife Mandy of Apex, NC, eighteen great grandchildren, Sean Norris, Brittany Norris, Danielle Shaben, Elizabeth Shaben, Dylan Parker, Skylar Parker, Talyn Parker, Isabella Parker, Aaron Burgess, Austin Burgess, Jacob Burgess, Kaitlyn Hardee, Kevin Hardee, Kaleb Hardee, Tony Mignano, Jr., Dominic Mignano, Samantha Cole and Dillon Nokes, two brothers, Mickey Strickland and wife Patricia of Chadbourn, NC and Morris Strickland of Lake Waccamaw, NC, two sisters, Sue Strickland of Fairbluff, NC and Barbara Nobles of Wallace, NC, a sister-in-law, Mildred Matthews of Harrells. Born June 17, 1935 in Columbus County, Mrs. Rivenbark was the daughter of the late Johnny Malcolm and Carrie Wilson Strickland and was a member of Antioch Church. She loved to travel, read, attending her garden and spending time with her family and retired from Steveco Knit. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, John Rivenbark and a brother, Johnny Mack Strickland. Casket bearers will be Joshua Rivenbark, Johnathan Rivenbark, Durwood Parker, III, Jason Parker, Johnny Dean Strickland and Aaron Burgess.
