Ms. Patsy Ruth Cottle Teachey, age 75 of Rose Hill, NC, went home to be with the Lord on January 11, 2015 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Wilmington, NC. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Rose Hill Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Paul Rose and the Rev. Carl Pulliam. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Rose Hill, NC. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. She is survived by two daughters, Angela Teachey Pulliam and husband Carl of Greensboro, NC and Robin Teachey Scott and husband Joe of Wallace, NC, a brother, Doane Cottle and wife Anita of Rose Hill, NC and seven grandchildren, Zach Pulliam of Greensboro, NC, Joe Scott III of Raleigh, NC, Tyler Likens of Wallace, NC, Tristan Pulliam of Greensboro, NC, Mary Landin Scott of Raleigh, NC, Nolan Likens of Wallace, NC and Joel Pulliam of Greensboro, NC. Born January 28, 1939 in Duplin County, NC, Ms. Teachey was the daughter of the late Herbert Royal and Katie Adelle (Jackson) Cottle and was preceded in death by her son, Jamie Teachey. Pat was a lifelong member of Rose Hill Baptist Church and loved being surrounded by her family. She was a loving and fun mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. Patsy Ruth was feminine, loved decorating, anything beautiful and eating out with her friends. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. Casket Bearers will be Zach Pulliam, Tristan Pulliam, Joel Pulliam, Tyler Likens, Nolan Likens, Jonathan Murphy, Herbie Cottle and Gurney Hufham.
