Paula Jean Breece

Paula Jean Chaffin Breece of Currie (NC) departed her earthly life on March 30, 2026 while at home, after a period of declining health. Born on January 7, 1973 in Parkersburg (WV), she is the daughter of the late Cathy Lynn Goudy Hoselton and Michael Chaffin. She is also preceded in death by her brother—Bradley Chaffin.

Left to cherish her memory are her stepfather—Kevin Dwayne Hoselton of Parkersburg (PA) and many aunts, uncles, and cousins in Parkersburg.

Paula was an outdoor person at heart with a work career including cement pouring/formation as well as driving larger trucks. She was adventurous by nature and many of her trucking hauls involved her special skills in especially wider loads. This was the type of haul that most truckers avoided. As an “outgoing, loving, beautiful little red head”, according to close family, she loved her family dearly and would give anyone anything she had—a true sweetheart.
