Philip F. Meckling, Jr. age 88 of 181 Red Berry Drive Wallace died Saturday June 19, 2010 at his residence. He is survived by one daughter, Jo Ann Booz and husband Huck of Wallace; one son Philip R. Meckling and wife Jeanette of Calabash, NC; three grandchildren, Lori Patterson and husband Brian of Pfafftown, NC, Tracy Williams of Wallace, NC, Stephanie Norris and husband Ryan of Rocky Point, NC and five great grandchildren. Born in Philadelphia, PA Mr. Meckling is the son of the late Philip F. and Isabella Warton Meckling, Sr. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 63 years Esther Cipressi Meckling; a sister, Marian Dean and a brother, Raymond Meckling. Mr. Meckling was retired from E. I. DuPont Chambers Works in Deepwater, NJ; a member of Queen of Apostles Church for 49 years in Pennsville, NJ. He is a member of The Knights of Columbus and marched in the Mummers Day Parade.
