Mr. Presley Franklin Mahoney, age 67 of Rose Hill, NC passed away Friday, March 29, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm Monday, April 1, 2013 at Padgett Funeral Home conducted by Reverend Benny Gutierrez. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary Mahoney of Rose Hill, NC, two sons, Sonny Mahoney and wife Brenda of Harrells, NC and Miles Bizzell of Rose Hill, NC, two daughters, Mary Anne Tyndal and husband David of Pink Hill, NC and Tina Carter of Rose Hill, NC, four brothers, Bill Mahoney and wife Pumpkin of Hedgesville, WV, Elwood Mahoney of Woodward, OK, Smitty Mahoney and wife Linda of Thaxton, VA and Bobby Mahoney and wife Terrei of Delaware, four sisters, Katherine Welty of Bloomery, WV, Edna Tharp and husband Jay of Laverne, OK, Roslie Lavigne and husband Jay of Newport, TN and Barbara Lavigne and husband Jerry of Clovis, NM, six grandchildren, Darleen Padgett, BJ Padgett, Felicia Mahoney, Jonathan Mahoney, Frankie Mahoney and Marissa Bizzell and four great grandchildren, Kallie Padgett, Carmen Mahoney, Kelly Williams and Katie Mahoney and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Born June 8, 1945 in Front Royal, Virginia, Mr. Mahoney was the son of the late John Pesley and Brucie Viloa Mahoney and was preceded in death by a brother, Joyn Mahoney.
