Regina Carol Bryant of Rose Hill, NC passed from this life during the late night of Tuesday, August 3, 2021, while at SECU Jim & Betsy Bryan UNC Hospice Home in Pittsboro, NC, with her precious family at her side.  Born on February 18, 1972 in Duplin County, she is the daughter of Clayton James Bryant, Sr. and Ruby Jones Bryant King.  She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents—Frank and Carrie Jones and paternal grandparents—John and Mary Bryant and several special aunts and uncles.

Left to cherish her memory are her father—Clayton James Bryant, Sr. and wife Wanda of Rose Hill; mother—Ruby Jones Bryant King and husband Ronald of Rose Hill; siblings—Clayton Bryant, Jr. and wife Sara of Rose Hill, Ashley Bryant and wife Sandy of San Antonio, TX; Beverly Taylor and husband Robert of Faison; and Deborah White and husband Rey Najera, Jr. of Bell Arthur, NC; six nieces and ten nephews; nine grandnieces and grandnephews; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and special friends—Katie Harrell, Dr. Hyman B. Muss, Josh Denny, and Dr. Walter Greene.

Regina was born in Duplin County and graduated from Wallace-Rose Hill High School in 1991.  She is a delight to everyone who was fortunate enough to make her acquaintance.  Even though she was not one to volunteer her opinion, she was very eager to share it with anyone who asked.  Watching "Highway to Heaven" and "Golden Girls" were very high on her priority list of favorite activities.  More than anything else on earth, she tremendously loved and delighted in sharing with her family, who have always been a great part of her life.

Family will greet friends at a visitation on Friday, August 6, 2021 in the 401 West Main Street chapel of Padgett Funeral & Cremation Services in Wallace.  A service to celebrate her life is set for Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Rose Hill Baptist Church with interment to follow in Duplin Memorial Gardens in Teachey, NC. Officiating will be Reverend Steve LeRoux.  The family would like to thank the UNC Hospital and the Jim and Betty Bryan UNC Hospice Home for the excellent care she received.  In lieu of flowers, family asks that memorial donations be made to:  Rose Hill Baptist Church--Post Office Box 459--Rose Hill, NC 28458.
