Mr. Robert William \"Bob\" Fleszar, age 71 of Rose Hill, NC, died on June 6, 2015 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Padgett Funeral Home in Wallace, NC conducted by Rev. Jason Villegas and Rev. Paul Rose. Burial will follow at Jones Cemetery in Harrells, NC. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 8 from 7:00-9:00 pm at Padgett Funeral Home in Wallace, NC. Bob is survived by his wife of 49 years, Betty Jean Fleszar of the home, his sister, Darlene Rizzo and husband Tony of Elkton, MD, two brothers, Daryl Stichberry of MD and Doug Stichberry of Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews. Bob was born on October 4, 1943 in Elkton, MD to the late William George and Evelyn May Hammond Fleszar. Bob was his happiest when spending time with his family. He loved all animals and children, especially all his nieces and nephews. He also loved his chihuahua, Sheba. He was a member of the Rose Hill Fire Department and served as an EMT. He also served his country honorably in the US Army for 3+ years. Casket Bearers will be Aubrey Jones, Clayton Bryant, Sr., Eugene Fussell, Ray Jones, Jeff Rand, Jonathan Bryant and Brian Jones.
