Mr. Robert Leary age 73 of Rocky Point, NC passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCare Center in Wilmington, NC. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Monday, October 8, 2012 at the Church of Pinhook conducted by the Reverend Buster Price.  Burial will follow in the Henderson Family Cemetery.  The family will receive at the church one hour prior to the service.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Rachael Leary of the home and two sisters, Hilda and Henrietta.

Born March 13, 1939 in Jacksonville, NC, Mr. Leary was the son of the late Henry H. and Lottie (Loyd) Leary and is preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.  Robert was a member of the Pinhook Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.  He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.

Casket bearers will be Andrew Peoples, James Craft, Danny Nobles, Christy Cavenaugh, Leon Craft and Henry Edwards.
