Mr. Rodney Graham Murphy age 59 died Sunday, June 6, 2010 at Milford and Reba Hospice Center in Kenansville, North Carolina. He is survived by brother, Billy Murphy and wife Deborah; nieces, Eva Sue Lennon and husband Brooke, Ellen Murphy and husband Steve Nickles; nephews, Vernon Rouse and wife Yolanda, Owen Rouse and wife Tanya, Bryan Murphy and wife Amy and several great and great-great nieces and nephews. A native of Duplin County, Rodney is preceded in death by his parents Vernal William and Margaret Mobley Murphy and sister, Patricia \"Patsy\" Murphy Rouse. He was a very active member of Bethel Wesleyan Church and worked twenty-nine years at Rose Hill Post Office. At Rodney's request, a private graveside service was held at Riverview Memorial Park conducted by Rev. Randy Conrad and Rev. Tim Mateer. A specail thanks to the staff at the Quinn Hospice Center for the wonderful care Rodney received.
